There are only few things that are better than a self care Sunday. It is so valuable to set up a routine on doing something just for yourself. Do not wait for the day when you burned yourself down but try to include little routines in you everyday life. And if that is really hard due to busy and long working hours try to block some time during the weekends. I will share a few self care tipps I found helpful over the next few weeks.

My all time favorite is THE COFFEE SCRUB. It is so easy to prepare that I even thought about wether it would be worth it to share. I admit it needs a tiny bit more work than buying a ready made body scrub but you only need two ingredients and get a product without any preservatives. The smell is amazing (even though I do not drink coffee) and it makes your skin feel as if it was freshly creamed. Ready? So here we go:

coffee grounds (from about 3 tbsp organic ground coffee)
1-2 tbsp coconut oil

Mix the warm coffee grounds with the coconut oil and let it cool down. Another possibility is to melt the coconut oil first and the stir in the coffee grounds. I like to put mine in the fridge until it is really cool and then use it while showering. There might be one thin layer of coconut oil on top of the jar or bowl. Just stir it well before usage.
Only apply coffee scrub on wet skin. Use your hands to cover your body with the body srub and massage it into your skin by using circular motions. The coconut oil melts on your skin and makes it glow.

Just mix the scrub once you prepare your coffee or coffee enema and using the coffee grounds. It takes a couple of minutes to prepare and less than five minutes to apply. 🙂
You can store it in the fridge for a few days.
